Broad Beans With Parsley Butter And Gammon Steaks

  • 2 Gammon Steaks
  • 1,000 g Broad Beans (shelled)
  • 50 g Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Parsley


  1. Prepare the parsley butter by mixing the butter, chopped parsley and some seasoning on a flat plate using a fork. Scoop up and form into a small cube or disc and chill in the fridge.
  2. Grill or fry the gammon steaks on both sides.
  3. Meanwhile cook the broad beans briefly in boiling salted water for 3-5 mins. The fresher and younger the beans are the quicker they will cook.
  4. Serve up on a warm plate, top with the parsley butter and dig in, what a treat!
