Strawberry Ice Cream

Although this recipe only has four steps, do not be fooled into thinking it's a quick one! It takes a while to hull all the strawberries and even longer to strain out the pulp. The longer you are prepared to spend on the straining, the smoother the resulting ice cream will be.

  • 1,500 g Strawberries
  • 300 ml Double Cream
  • 220 g Caster Sugar


  1. Wash and hull the strawberries.
  2. Put all the ingredients into a food processor and blend.
  3. Strain through a fine sieve.
  4. Churn in an ice cream machine.
