Spicy Prawns With Chilli And Cucumber

  • 2 Small Cucumbers
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Root Ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon Hot Chilli Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Creme Fraiche
  • 250 g Tiger Prawns
  • 4 teaspoons Coriander


  1. Cook and peel the tiger prawns.
  2. Peel and cut the cucumbers lengthwise then remove the seeds with a spoon and cut flesh into 1cm pieces.
  3. Melt some butter in a frying pan until it sizzles. Then add the cucumber pieces and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add grated ginger, chilli and lime juice and cook for a further minute.
  5. Finally add the prawns, coriander and the creme fraiche.
  6. Stir all together and serve immediately.
