Makes/Serves: large tray


  • 100 g Butter
  • 225 g Plain Flour
  • 25 g Icing Sugar
  • 1 Egg


  1. Put the butter, plain flour and icing sugar into a food processor and mix until it looks like breadcrumbs.
  2. Add the egg and mix again until it starts to look doughy.
  3. You can the knead the mixture together and roll out.
  4. Or, you can squish it straight down into a greased tray - just take a little time to level it out evenly before you start pressing it in the tin.
